Abstract
Due to mobility and speed of vehicles, VDTNs have dynamic topology where communication depends on small contact duration. So, traditional internet routing protocols are not perform efficient in such networks. DTN routing protocols are capable to provide good performance. In Spray and Wait protocol, sender itself forwards L copies to L nodes in the network. After that all L nodes goes for a direct delivery to its destination. It has two modes: Normal mode and Binary mode. Binary mode is not performing well when message copies are more. Also, if buffer size is more it can transmit only limited number of copies. The main goal of this paper is to enhance the performance of network by modifying existing binary spray and wait routing protocol. For analysis, it is assumed that VDTN scenario is ideal and series of simulations are done in ONE simulator with version of 1.4.1.
